- Residential lockout assistance
- Commercial lockout assistance
- Automotive lockout assistance
- Lock repair and replacement
- New lock installation
- Residential and commercial lock rekeying
- Key cutting and duplication
- Car key and key-fob services
- Broken key extraction
- Smart lock and keyless-entry installation
- Master key system services

The availability of a particular service is not guaranteed. Some locks, vehicles, keys, access systems or security products may require specialized tools, manufacturer authorization, replacement parts or referral to another provider.
We reserve the right to decline work that we reasonably believe would be unsafe, unlawful, beyond our capabilities or inconsistent with professional locksmith practices.
Service Authorization and Proof of Access
Locksmith work may only be performed for a person who has lawful authority to access or modify the relevant property, building, room, vehicle, safe, lock or security system.
Before beginning work, we may ask you to provide appropriate identification and evidence of ownership, tenancy, management authority or other lawful authorization.
Acceptable verification may include:
- A government-issued photo identification document
- Vehicle registration or insurance documentation
- A lease, deed, utility bill or property document
- Written authorization from the property owner
- Business ownership or management documentation
- Other reasonable proof appropriate to the situation
If identification or authorization cannot be confirmed, we may refuse or stop the service. You are responsible for ensuring that all information and documents provided to us are accurate and lawful.
By authorizing the work, you represent that you have the legal right to request the service and authorize any necessary access, opening, repair, rekeying, drilling, replacement or installation.
Estimates, Pricing and Additional Work
Telephone, email and website estimates are preliminary unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing. An accurate final price may require an on-site inspection of the lock, key, door, vehicle, hardware or security system.
Pricing may depend on factors including:
- The type and condition of the lock or hardware
- The complexity and time required to complete the work
- The tools, parts and replacement products required
- Vehicle make, model, year and key technology
- Service location and travel requirements
- Time of day and emergency-service requirements
- Unexpected damage or previously attempted repairs
Whenever reasonably possible, the technician will explain the proposed work and applicable charges before beginning. If additional work becomes necessary, we will seek your authorization before proceeding when reasonably practical.
Applicable taxes, parts, materials, service-call charges and other disclosed charges may be added to the service price.
You are not required to approve work beyond the services and charges you have authorized.
Appointments, Emergency Calls and Arrival Times
Appointment and arrival times are estimates. We make reasonable efforts to arrive within the communicated time window, but arrival times may be affected by:
- Traffic and weather conditions
- Distance and technician availability
- Earlier emergency calls
- Road closures or unsafe travel conditions
- Incorrect or incomplete service-location information
- Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
A stated arrival time is not a guarantee unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Contact us if your circumstances change or you no longer require assistance.
References to 24/7 emergency service mean that customers may contact us for emergency assistance at any time. Actual response and service availability depend on technician availability, location, safety and the nature of the request.
If a child, vulnerable person or animal is locked in a vehicle or property and is in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate emergency service before contacting a locksmith.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
A reasonable service-call, travel or cancellation charge may apply if:
- A technician has already been dispatched
- The technician has arrived at the service location
- The customer cannot provide access or authorization
- The customer is unavailable at the agreed location
- Special-order parts or products have already been obtained
Any applicable charge should be communicated before or when the appointment is arranged, where reasonably practical. Nothing in this section limits rights available under applicable law.
Payment
Payment is generally due when the authorized work is completed unless another written arrangement has been made.
We may accept selected payment methods communicated at the time of service. Customers should confirm available payment methods before authorizing work.
You are responsible for paying all authorized service, labor, parts, material, tax and other disclosed charges.
For larger jobs, commercial services or special-order products, we may request a deposit or advance payment. Deposit terms will be communicated before payment is made.
If you believe an invoice contains an error, contact us promptly so that we can review the matter.
Customer Responsibilities
When requesting service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate contact, location, property, lock and vehicle information
- Disclose known damage, safety hazards and previous repair attempts
- Provide lawful access and required authorization
- Keep children, animals and other people safely away from the work area
- Remove valuables or fragile items from the work area
- Follow reasonable safety and operating instructions
- Test keys, locks and installed hardware before the technician leaves when reasonably possible
- Notify us promptly if you identify a concern with the completed work
You are responsible for obtaining permission from landlords, property owners, building managers, vehicle owners or other responsible parties when such permission is required.
Products, Workmanship and Warranties
Any service-specific workmanship warranty will be described on the estimate, invoice, receipt or other written service documentation. If no warranty period is stated, contact us promptly after discovering a problem so that we can assess the situation.
Locks, keys, smart devices and other products manufactured by third parties may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturer warranty claims may be subject to the manufacturer’s terms and procedures.
A warranty may not cover problems resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, neglect or accidental damage
- Forced entry, vandalism or attempted break-ins
- Weather, water, fire or environmental damage
- Building, door, frame or alignment movement
- Battery failure, connectivity failure or software changes
- Work performed by another person after our service
- Failure to follow product or maintenance instructions
- Pre-existing defects not caused by our work
Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Property Condition and Limitation of Liability
Locksmith work sometimes involves opening, drilling, extracting, repairing or replacing locks and security hardware. We use reasonable care, but some existing locks, doors, frames, keys, ignitions or security components may already be worn, damaged, defective or improperly installed.
When non-destructive entry is not reasonably possible, the technician may recommend drilling, cutting or replacing a lock or component. We will seek authorization before using a destructive method when reasonably practical.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Swift Locks & Keys LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from the authorized service.
Where permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular service will not exceed the amount paid for that service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or other conduct for which limitation is prohibited.
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights or remedies that cannot be waived under federal, New York State or other applicable law.
